Growing up, Yauger Park was just a handful of ball fields (baseball/softball and soccer) and a giant parking lot that would flood with rain water and storm water run off. We just visited on Friday night after we began a search for playgrounds near us....More

This park has plenty of space and things to do. As other reviews said, horseshoe pits, playground for children, skateboard park, ballfields, a community garden, and walking path around the park. The old nature trails are no longer maintained and not recommended for use.

There is something for everyone at this park eg horseshoes, baseball, childrens play areas, picnic areas. It is delightful and heavily used so you feel safe walking around. If I lived in Olympia, I would locate close to this park.

This park has something for everyone. There are ball fields for baseball or soccer, horse shoe pits, a skateboard park, a jogging trail and picnic tables. It also is fun just to watch people and their actives.

The park recently had the children's play area rebuilt with a large variety of play equipment. There is an area for picnicking - either on the grass or at the tables. There are no fees for use of that part of the park. The park...More
