Nearly one of a kind [the baths overlooking the Pacific at Esalen, Big Sur], it is wonderful to be immersed in hot water while bathing beside the ocean waters. There are 3 tubs, all the same temperature, and it never felt crowded. Only one had a jet and it was occupied for my 45 minutes by one woman. I kept... More

Doe Bay is Sacred ground. If you are sensitive you can feel it. Having said that droending when you come this place can feel destroyed by the oeople who have descended in mass with out much respect or wherewith-all. It can be via the hoard .. obnoxious. Yet it is a magical place. I hope you have the good karma to... More

Spent 5 days camping in the primitive camping area. By primitive, I mean out in the woods 1/2 mile from bathrooms. No picnic table and no fires allowed. Perfect peaceful site with a beautiful view. Wake up every morning to the sounds of bluejays, starlings and eagles. Deer are everywhere. Spa area (clothing optional) was awesome after a long day.

We drove from Deer Harbor to Doe Bay to go to the Springs before dinner. My sister and I paid the $15 each for the day pass and we walked in looked at the color of the water and asked for our money back. There were at least six people in each tub, and if the traffic had been like... More

I stayed at Doe Bay Resort last week. This is an awesome resort. They pretty much rule when it comes to running a great spot to stay. You can camp. There are yurts and geo domes. Also cabins. I stayed in a sweet one bedroom with a kitchen and lovely view of the water -- ask for the Patos cabin... More

The soaking tubs at Doe Bay are outstanding. They are clothing optional, so expect naked people in the tub with you. The tubs were usually 3 different temperatures. They have showers to use before and after you soak. There is also a dry sauna which was really nice and hot. The venue for the soaking tubs is excellent - they... More

We came to Doe Bay for the special Thursday Taco & Open Mic Night. What a lively, young, fun atmosphere! The food was delicious and fresh. The music was fun and lively. The view was spectacular. Worth the drive from Eastsound.

It's freaking cold here on Cape Cod right now and it looks like Alaska, so the memory of soaking in the warm outdoor tubs at Doe Bay and then eating in the cafe at the edge of the bay is like a dream I'd like not to wake from.

Stayed 2 nights in Little House. Expensive. Really $170/night for an old run down tiny cabin. There was no shower in the room. The windows did not open. The old carpet was wet from a leaky refrigerator. The so called dish clothes were literally torn up rags. They ask you to wash your own dishes in the tiny bathroom sink.... More

Doe Bay had awesome views and you could just sit in the chairs provided on the lawn overlooking the bay and just relax!
