Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We paid a good amount to have the large group site. However people from the campground walk through our group campsites all day long so there is absolutely no privacy.
We intentionally spend a lot of money to have some peace with our timid dogs. Instead we freaked them out every hour with random people
Popping out of woods and walking or running into our camp area.

Very wooded and private sites with clean facilities and a beautiful walk to the beach. Easy entry after hours with a nice self pay at gate for RV or camp sites.

It’s a small park that was a wonderful place to stay versus the big parks in Poulsbo. We were in space 1 and our 38 ft diesel pusher fit just fine. There was extra parking spaces for our Jeep right next to our space. We only had water and power at this state park. The water connections were tricky so we had to get help figuring it out.
The park has water access (ramp), playground for kids, and it’s close to Poulsbo. It took us 30 minutes to get to the ferry at Bainbridge Island from this campground.
Great place!

People go to parks for all different reasons and this one probably checks off more than most. If you like camping in fairly woodsy, easily accessible campgrounds, this is for you--but you won't find solitude. There are big grassy play areas and it' close to town.
Great access to the shore on cement steps down to the water after a short trail through the woods. You will often find Kitsap Volunteer Beach Interpreters ready to answer questions or share knowledge. And the views of the Olympics is pretty...

Not far from gas station, groceries, latte stand. Level play area. Also available space for venue rental. Not far from Poulsbo or the historic Port Gamble.private camp sites, fire pits, clean restrooms.

We visited our daughter and son in law in Poulsbo and they recommended this park for camping ⛺️. It was a great place to camp. All the sites were very secluded and private. Firewood was reasonably priced @ $5 a bundle. There are 4 cabins that are wheelchair accessible. There is a huge hall for weddings 👰 or get togethers. If it’s a wedding 🎩 there is a cabin that can be used by the married couple. It’s about 20 minutes to Poulsbo.

We take our grandkids to the beach a lot and this beach is great for beach combing. The grandkids like being able to explore and during the summer there is lots of room for the to run. This is a family friendly park, that would be great on a sunny day for a family picnic.

What a hidden gem! I'd never been here before but came to check it out. Great kids playground, tall trees, and access to the water make this a lovely spot. They have great camping spots including a few small sleep huts.

My daughter has reserved the Log Hall for her wedding in September. I was able to look around on Sunday while the hall was being set up for a wedding. I have a few questions.
There were twinkle lights in the hall on the beams. Are they included in the hall and if not do you know how many strings are normally used or do you know someone I could contact for this information?
I noticed some large barrels in the hall around the perimeter. Are they included in the hall?
I didn’t see the caterer’s kitchen. Is it in a separate building or is it the outdoor kitchen next to the hall entrance?
Do you have tables and chairs for rent?
Do the guests for the wedding all have to buy a Discovery pass?

I'll be attending a wedding August 14, 2015 and camping in the group campground. What is the bug situation? Should I bring our bug screen that fits over a picnic table so you can eat without wasps, etc. buzzing around? Thank you!

Will probably be yellow jackets in August. Use a bug candle, bug screen a good idea.
They become protein eaters in August.

Does anyone have any recommendations for cabins for a family of 4? There are no photos on the State Park website. Thanks!
