What a hidden gem! I'd never been here before but came to check it out. Great kids playground, tall trees, and access to the water make this a lovely spot. They have great camping spots including a few small sleep huts.

Beautiful park, great for visits but don't recommend for events. Rented for a weekend event and had several issues, including bathrooms out of order that weren't handled well by park staff.

While our stay here was great (in cabin #4) I'd like to spotlight the camp host, John. John is fantastic, whether it's tips on how to get the most out of your token-operated shower, how to find a nearby heron rookery, or where to camp...More

Quiet park on the east side of the Hood Canal. Easy access off of SR-3. Not too far from Poulsbo which offers amenities for BBQ's and the like. Water stays cold in this area.

Will probably be yellow jackets in August. Use a bug candle, bug screen a good idea. They become protein eaters in August.
