We did a few miles of the many connected trails around the lodge. All gorgeous. The waterfalls are nice of course, but below average, so not the reason to do the walk.

This short and well-groomed trail presents a condensed summary of a temperate rain forest. Quinault Rain Forest looks a little (but significant enough) to me. But the trail is easy for just about anybody to hike so they can gain an idea of what a...More

Beautiful tall trees along the drive up to Rain Forest, once we got all the way up, the clouds hanging pretty low, we couldn't really see much of anything.

We drove until the paved road ended. Saw the local elk herd and a waterfall along the way. Love the quaintness of the area.

Fairly easy trail to follow, lots of wildlife and spectacular sights. Advise waterroof clothing and walking boots if visiting when we did, november.

We loved this walk through the forest, and were fortunate to have the trail to ourselves much of the time.

We loved this little trail, and in fact found it more beautiful than the Hoh Hall of Mosses. While the Hall of Mosses felt quite open, the vegetation here is dense; there is so much to see that we found ourselves wandering slowly through with...More

We only saw a herd of elk over there; not much other than that. We didn't see any bear nor did we hear anything about bear over there. It was nice and peaceful while we were there. I hope this help and enjoy your trip.
