The museum like Roslyn is small but packed with so much history. When you think of Washington State and the Cascade mountains you do not naturally think of coal mining. But the history of it is right there to see.

Small museum but cute and has what it needs to tell you the history of Roslyn, Washington. It was free but you can donate to keep it open. It's next to the Roslyn Cafe.

I didn't know Roslyn was a coal mining town. The museum chronicles the history of the area and the mining. Small museum but very nicely done.

The museum was very quaint and had a lot of items from the town's coal mining days. Museum worker was very knowledgeable and patient with our 3 year old hopping about in her small space.
