The kids love Riverfront

Every year we make multiple trips down to Riverfront Park. From the Gondola over the Falls, the Big Red Wagon or any of the events they hold we always have a great time.

I was suspicious whether there was any waterfall in winter. It actually was there and quite good a scene.

Riverfront park is located right at the edge of downtown Spokane on the Spokane River. As a previous person commented, it is undergoing some upgrades but it's large enough to still have a quiet walk along the water. Lots of restaurants and shopping just 1 or 2 blocks away and our convention center is located there and the "opera house"... More

I was quite surprised that a city park set up for New Years had such poor maintenance! I notice that it's undergoing a facelift, and I look forward to see that next year, but I was not impressed by the fact all the trail, paths and walks were covered in snow and the ones that were clear, were only a... Currently the park is undergoing much needed rennovations and being rebuilt for a grand park for all to use sometime in the next year or two. Have visited the park countless times over... More

Riverfront is a must see in Spokane. I go every year for Hoopfest. The park has beautiful scenery. There are many great places for picnics and walking trails.

My favorite urban experience used to be Seattle; it had a certain intimacy for a big city. I found that Spokane is so much better. I lived in Spokane and have become enchanted with the the Spokane Downtown Riverfront Experience. There are a million things to do and places to eat and hotels to stay in located right around some...
