My favorite activity here is snowshoeing in winter and mountain biking in warmer months. You need a Discover Pass and Sno-Park Pass to park in the lots.

We have lived here in Spokane and finally made it up there last month. It is a pleasant drive on a very nice road. There was not a lot of traffic and you are limited in a vehicle as to how far you can go....More

You have to have a pass to access the mountain as it's federal land. You can get a pass in advance or purchase a day pass. Cash only if there is no attendant which was the case on my visit. Nice drive there from Spokane....More

You can get a day pass for $10. They have automated vending machines where you can purchase the pass. They call the passes "Discover Pass". If you google these keywords, one of the first results "should" be the... More

during the summer I believe they must be on a leash... During the winter they are not allowed on the groomed trails. Im sorry.. dont know much more than that... I dont take my dogs with me when I ski.
