This is a long, narrow park along the freeway (silencing walls exist) on a slight slope. Natural areas, grassy fields, a creek, and identifying markers provide something for everyone. Take extra clothing for kids; I've never gone with them and not had one fall in...More

You have to want to go to finch Arboretum. It's not that easy to find but well worth the effort. In the spring the cherry blossom trees are a riot of color and the rhododendrons when in bloom are spectacular. A great place to just...More

This is a great spot to take a walk and see the Fall colors. Close to city center but feels miles away.

Free public park with lovely paths. Enjoyable year around but best in the fall. Grab some hot chocolate and walk on the crunchy leaves enjoying the crisp air.

I'm new to Spokane, and this is one of the first places I visited (end June). First, as others have mentioned, the photo is not of the arboretum. The grounds are large, and I probably spent 2.5 hours walking at my leisure and taking photos....More

We love to picnic here! Even in the winter, a soup picnic and cross country skiing is the best. Fall is gorgeous! Spring and Summer something is always blooming
