Great waterfall point within the first couple miles, but if you keep going, the view from the first lookout is great, but the summit is very rewarding🤘🏽This is one of my favorites. Loop is an option as well.

I’ve wanted to do this hike for awhile. It is a 6.4 mile RT with about 2200 ft of elevation gain. If you are traveling east on highway 14 take a left at Beacon Rock and drive up the hill. The trailhead parking is up...More

My wife and I did not make it to the top since she was having a rough day but we did make it close. It is a good trail and is certainly challenging. We did not realize how long it was and neglected to take...More

Another trail that I have personally helped maintain through Washington Trails association. Most people can make it to the falls even if they can't do the whole trail r/t steepness. Provides remarkable views and all in our own back yard. Beacon Rock State Park does...More

This hike is a favorite of my family. We've climbed this peak many times in all seasons. Plan to take water and a snack for the trip. Also plan several hours to complete the full loop.

Great Saturday hike, though definitely pay for the pass! I got a $99 ticket for parking without a forest pass. The signs are very clear, there are several options for routes, and the incline isn't difficult.

I agree with the prior reviewer, the falls section of the trail is great and highly rwearing. There are two routes for the climb up the mountain, the shorter, steeper route is pretty brutal, I recommend the longer, more gradual rout, at least on the...More

I'm surprised no one had yet made a listing for this on Tripadvisor! Hamilton Mountain Trail is a very well known hiking trail in the Columbia Gorge. To go to the peak is 3.2 miles one, and to reach the beautiful falls that it has...More
