Great waterfall point within the first couple miles, but if you keep going, the view from the first lookout is great, but the summit is very rewarding🤘🏽This is one of my favorites. Loop is an option as well.
I’ve wanted to do this hike for awhile. It is a 6.4 mile RT with about 2200 ft of elevation gain. If you are traveling east on highway 14 take a left at Beacon Rock and drive up the hill. The trailhead parking is up...More
My wife and I did not make it to the top since she was having a rough day but we did make it close. It is a good trail and is certainly challenging. We did not realize how long it was and neglected to take...More
Okay - so I didn't do the entire Hamilton Mountain hike - so for those of you like myself who want an interesting hike to do before or after the Beacon Rock hike this hike up to Rodney Falls is a great one to do....More
Wanting to go back to Eagle Creek on the Oregon side of the Gorge, but not having enough time - we traveled 1/2 hour E of Camas on Hwy 14 to this awesome hike - COME EARLY as we did, or you will have to...More
Another trail that I have personally helped maintain through Washington Trails association. Most people can make it to the falls even if they can't do the whole trail r/t steepness. Provides remarkable views and all in our own back yard. Beacon Rock State Park does...More

I'm surprised no one had yet made a listing for this on Tripadvisor! Hamilton Mountain Trail is a very well known hiking trail in the Columbia Gorge. To go to the peak is 3.2 miles one, and to reach the beautiful falls that it has...More
