There's a lot to see and do here so give yourself a couple of hours to see every building, read every sign, and chat with anyone of the friendly and passionately knowledgeable staff decked out in period costume. This is a great experience for kids....More

Visiting the Restored Fort is interesting, even if the living history museum is not being presented, but if you want to experience the living museum, check schedule ahead to make certain it will be open the time that you are visiting.

It's up to you. It's a living museum. You can look around, or listen to the guides talk about the era. There are many special events planned, and some are quite popular and can draw a crowd. I would look on their website... More
