Wright's Park is a large urban park in the middle of Tacoma, Washington. In addition to the botanical garden at the conservatory - there are wonderful walking trails throughout the park. It's a great place for the family on a sunny day!

This is a small garden but extremely beautiful! The gift shop has great treasures and the garden was decorated for Halloween. Free admission and worth the time to check it out! Truly a must see!

I've passed the Seymour Botanical Conservatory on walks when I've visited Tacoma but never stopped by when it was open. Today I lucked out. It's a small Victorian glass garden spot, bulging with orchids, ferns, coleus, palms and much more. A peaceful stop on a rainy day! Quiet, soft music in the background, fountains, koi in a pond beneath towering... More

The facility is very small and the collection limited and not well identified. The admission was not free with a suggested donation. I belong to a national arboretum organization which listed this as one of the participating gardens and was charged admission anyway. So if, like me, you are a serious garden lover and from out of town it not... More

Shame on me. I totally forgot about this place! It is full of plants & blooms. I don't have a green-thumb but I know was pretty. It's small but so full of stuff to see. I saw the gazebo & thought it would be a great place for a small wedding.

I went twice to this place - very interesting - good photos. Needs a toilet though, IMHO. Across the street is a document museum, which is also very interesting, AND has a toilet.

I love this little corner of Tacoma. It is great in all seasons, but especially wonderful after a string of cold and dreary days. They also have a summer story time for kids.

Seymour Botanical Conservatory is a wonderful place to visit on a cold and dreary day. It's like stepping into a tropical island with all kinds of exotic flowers.

I was surprised by how many plants and how much diversity we found in the conservatory. There's so much to see, and you can take a walk in one of the areas best urban parks afterward.

I have been visiting this place for over fifty years and I am always awe-struck at the gorgeous floral displays. It is one of the most relaxing, peaceful places one can visit. I love it.
