We found this museum on Trip Advisor when we were road tripping in the Palouse. We were astounded by the scope and quality of the exhibits. We didn’t want to leave when our schedule demanded, but we will return on another trip!

This museum is totally supported by the local community and patrons. The staff is welcoming; the displays exude the quality construction it takes to tell accurate and engaging historical displays. The variety of topics reflect the diverse culture of the Yakima Valley.

What a find this museum is! The special exhibition during December documented the role of Japanese Americans in the Yakima Valley - very moving. We could have spent hours looking at each of the areas in the museum.
