Visited here in the off season but still beautiful! Most parts of the park don't open until after Memorial Day but still great for walking around the park. The nature center was really cool and the park ranger was incredibly nice and informative.

We have been coming here in February for the last ten years. We love that time of year here. But there are a number of things we have found that makes the weekend more enjoyable. Book cabins early. We do it a year in advance to make sure we get one when we want one. We bring sets of flannel... More

We decided to visit the restaurant while in town. The hamburger was declared delicious by my husband and the turkey club was huge and filled with meat. I had to eat it in two meals. We want to go back when it's warmer so we can sit outside in the rocking chairs and enjoy the view. Excellent meal.

We took our two small children on a beautiful afternoon so they could have a place to run around. They absolutely loved it. They had the choice between the playground, the beach, and the boats. We had a great time.

A great place to take any number of loop hikes before heading into Berkeley Springs to eat! Just off 522.

Stayed with my partner in a 4 person cabin/cottage. It was very cold outside but the wood burning fireplace was very cozy. The cabin decor is very outdated there was two bedrooms, indoor bathroom w/shower, heat, full kitchen w/ a full size refrigerator, microwave , full size oven, kitchen sink , utensils, pans, and dish soap. There was also a... More

August 2016 we drove for quite a long time around Cacapon State Park, making sure to spend time at the lovely unspoiled lake with a beach, visit the many real log cabins, and driving to the highest point in the park where you can see 3 states. It was like a trip back in time with all the buildings kept... More

Stayed in the lodge. Room was small but adequate. Very clean facility. They have a beach area open in the summer that looked nice. They also have hiking trails, horseback riding and fishing.
