I've actually enjoyed the lakefront beach. Nothing fancy at all. Old dirty bathhouse but feels classic. If you are looking for fancy you don't go here but if you want an inexpensive place to sit on the beach you will enjoy the this.

We swung into here to check it out! The grounds looked well maintained and awesome. The lake and beach area looked clean and well tended. The cabins looked rustic but like the perfect getaway if you want to go to the woods to get away...More

Had a great lunch buffet in the dining room overlooking the golf course, followed by a nice swim in the lake ($5 per person) afterwards. We didn't stay overnight but the rooms are very reasonable

My family and I have been renting a cabin for a week-long stay at Cacapon for 15 years! We love the "standard" cabins, which were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the late 1930s. The 12 CCC cabins, as well as the slightly-less-vintage "deluxe"...More

While we didn't have a lot of time to explore, everyone had a great time at the Park - from the scenic overlook to the beach and the waterfall. Would love to come back and spend a few days seeing more of the park!

I don't know if the lodge restaurant offers wine / beer. We stayed in the Old Inn and brought everything with us, cooked all of our own meals.
