Very nice and interesting cemetery, some of the stones are very weather beaten and hard to read, has some very old headstones

My Mom, Dad, three Aunts and two Uncles are buried there on the west side. I’m hoping my ashes will be placed there with my parents when that time comes to pass. It’s a beautiful, quiet, peaceful place to come and reflect on some of the relations of greatness in our nation. Also, some of the Washington home throughout Jefferson County are a drive by must see!!…

There is so much to see here with the church, history and graves it’s a must stop on your local visit. The graves, especially the Washington’s are amazing.

This is a great small cemetery that is well worth a look. It is said there are more relatives of George Washington buried here than anywhere else. I don't know it that's true, but it's still fun to see.
