Features the reconstructed Blennerhassett Mansion, guided tours,concession stand, gift shop, narrated wagon rides, hiking trails and picnic facilities. Beautiful place to tour. Friendly and knowledgeable tour guides. Wonderful ride on boat to and from. Highly recommend if you like historical sites. Carriage tour is amazing!!! Very relaxing place.

the home on the island is great has a lot of background and history. This site is very historical and shows the historical era. The grounds are well kept, and it makes a great family trip, there has lots of variety.

Another must see when visiting WV. Clean facilities. Beautiful history. Several things to do while on the island. Wonderful place for pictures, wedding ceremonies etc.

There is ample free parking just inside the floodwall at the dock where you board the sternwheeler that takes you to the island. There is a snack bar on the island with a diverse menu, but you are welcome to take anything... More

Yes. I have seen several folks in wheelchairs visit the island. Both the dock area and the boat are wheelchair friendly. Once on the island, there is a small hill to go up when you exit the boat and there are people to help... More
