We came here for the Winter Festival of Lights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The displays were pleasant with only a few needing "repaired". We drove through twice just to get a solid look at everything. The $20/car donation seemed somewhat reasonable given the amount of displays, and the donation covers all season. Directions were clear to follow. The only disappointment... More

Traveled here for a one time visit due to limited time in the area and wanted to visit the festival of lights. First they have you enter the good zoo for a laser show and modle railroad display. They charged$9.95 to enter the zoo which was closed except for the model railroad display and a small light display out back... More

The lights are so fun to drive through at Christmas time. This is an enjoyable holiday tradition for kids. We have stated at the hotel but due to poor experiences there with cleanliness, we will be seeing the glass blowers and going through the lights as always, and staying at a nearby hotel this year instead.

Stayed with family members in one of their rental cabins. Nice and clean. They have different size cabins, houses, lodge rooms available for any size need. They have a pool, small zoo, tennis courts, gardens, dining options, glass museum, gift shop on the grounds. Overall a nice vacation with family members.

Nice topography. Interesting history. A reason to stay in the lodge and enjoy a look back. Festival of lights rates a solid 3 out of 5.

The light displays are amazing - the nighttime drive thru is wonderful to see. We toured the Mansion Museum and had a delicious dinner buffet at Wilson Lodge. We also visited the Good Zoo and enjoyed their Light & Lazer Show plus the outdoor lights set to music. For November we had awesome warm weather which made walking from place... More

We would suggest staying on site and enjoying all they have to offer. The Mansion museum Was well put together, the gardens and Glassworks Museum are also worth a stop.

Very nice lights. Don't be deceived the park expands out to golf course and other places. They ask for $20 donation but will take whatever u offer, so don't let price scare you.

Oglebay is the beautiful and most wonderful place I've ever seen. The Christmas lights are wonderful and they move and it's only 20$ pur a donation.

On arrival my mother and I were optimistic of this supposed high class golf resort. We were thoroughly disappointed. The food was cold and the waitresses were colder. I had to ask three times for my food and when it arrived I had to stop myself from spitting it back out. The only good part of this meal was the... More
