We visit Wheeling every few years when we travel from Oregon, and make it a point to stop at the Carriage House Glass shop. We have bought some beautiful vases and bowls there which we have enjoyed showing in our home. Sometimes there is a selection of vintage glass for sale as well as new pieces. There are smaller, less... More

We did a self guided tour. There is a lot to learn here about the history of glass in the area. They have some very impressive pieces. Worth spending the time to see.

This is a great site for families with older children and adults. My 7 year old really liked watching the glass art making demonstration.

We always stop at this store, and usually end up buying quite a bit because we are there after the holiday. We ended up purchasing many gifts for Christmas 2012. They have a very friendly, helpful staff.

We saw beautiful WV glass, and glass from other places, in addition to souvenirs of all types from our stay. We especially liked the Tiffany-style lamps and picture frames.

They have the flower lights there. I got to get two more colors and then I got all of them. They also, have awsome ornaments there. Every year we get a different one.

Not certain why TripAdvisor has this as a separate attraction; this is the glass store located above the Glass Museum. See my review of the Oglebay Institue Glass Museum. Definitely worth a visit, particularly if you love beautiful things!
