This rock is totally amazing. It's a meta-quartzite. It is unlike any granite, or gneiss, or basal, or sedimentary sandstone you have ever experienced. It's like solid blocks of armor-plate steel forged by the dark lord himself in the furnaces of deep time.

Nick and all of his guides were extremely professional, safe, welcoming, funny, and made the day an over all wonderful experience! I would highly recommend checking them out for your next trip. Climb, build anchors, from beginner to experienced these guys are the best!
