We have fished with Captain Scott and First Mate Devan a couple of times. The first time, in the spring, the weather turned cold and windy. Fishing was tough, but they still put us on fish and we had a good time. When we returned in the summer, the weather was great. We went out into Lake Michigan in search of salmon. We didn't find any salmon, but got into a bunch of steelhead and had a blast. Dad is 95 and has some mobility issues. The crew was very sensitive to his needs and treated us both very well. We were on their 48' boat, which provides a luxury fishing experience. I recommend them highly.

Scott and the team at Reel Action are Bar None the Absolute Best Charter Operation on the Great Lakes. Scott is extremely knowledgeable, professional, personable and an absolute blast to fish with for 5 Hours targeting huge Kings on the Bank Reef. I’ve fished with Scott for the better part of 20 years and I can say without question, there’s not a finer Charter Operation on the Great Lakes. I brought my nephews out this past summer for their 1st Lake Michigan Salmon Action and boy did they get what they came for! A 25+ Pound King landed by the youngest is now mounted above his bed at home as a fiberglass replica! Needless to say it was a once in a lifetime experience for him that he’ll remember forever and wouldn’t have been possible without the team at Reel Action! Get out there and make some amazing memories of your own with Scott and the team!

Best fishing charter of my life! We didn’t catch huge numbers due to three days of horrible weather ahead of our trip, but talk about quality! On a day other charters were struggling to put good sized fish in the boat, we landed five VERY nice kings, including the fish of a lifetime for my 13 year old daughter... 41”, 26.6 lbs (which would have been on the leaderboard in the K/D Tournament if we had entered)! Scott and Devon were GREAT! Everyone in my family caught fish, and everyone made memories that will last a lifetime. I’d give more stars if I could!

We booked a charter on Reel Action in August 2016. Since we were bringing our two kids, we decided to pay to rent the entire boat for the morning. Captain Scott & first mate Tyler met us, prepped us for the trip & got us out to the fishing spot plenty early. We knew the fishing on the lake had been spotty for a few days prior to our arrival in Door County so we didn't have high hopes. But we were lucky & they got us on fish. We caught many salmon, including our daughter catching a 32 lb+ salmon. Talk about the trip of a lifetime. Even without that, we would have enjoyed the trip as they were nothing but patient, kind & full of information. Would strongly recommend them to anyone wanting to fish. Will definitely charter with them again in the future.

Our family hire Reel ActIon to take us fishing. We were met by Capt. Charlie and first mate Tyler on a 37 ft boat. We went out about four miles into the lake. Please note. I got seasick. If you are susceptible to that, taking medicine is a must! The guys tried to make me as comfortable as possible. As far as the fishing, it was a good day! The boys caught trophy sized trout and we even got a salmon. Tyler had them all dressed when we got back to dock. Great day!
