We have a habit of stopping at small local museums looking for a the local spark that makes the small towns special. This museum passed the test. We also really appreciated the museum guide that spoke so lovingly of there hometown.

This museum is housed in a beautifully restored camp building. It features local historical information and displays on logging, boat racing, camps and resorts, military, furbearers and tools, and a featured display of period fashion. There is no admittance fee, but donations are appreciated.
