I really enjoyed the paths for the hike I took here. Eau Claire has some beautiful places to take a hike that isn't extensively long, but a bit challenging and fun. Mount Simon Park delivers that same experience! I'm looking forward to going back there...More

Mount Simon is home to Eau Claire Babe Ruth baseball teams. Come and watch a variety of teams nightly throughout the summer. Enjoy a grilled burger and snacks. There is a small park for small children to swing or slide.

Lots of family activities available such as ball fields, Frisbee golf, fishing piers and boat landing, and picnic tables (this includes the lower park area). Swimming may not be recommended due to the swift current and nearby dam.

Stopped her to do a little geocaching. Nice Park with a great view. Unfortunately others have left trash and graffiti behind so the park could use a little clean up.

This little walk up to the big rock that overlooks the valley is breathtaking! I highly recommend going up there during early summer time to see how green and full the trees are. Truly a beautiful view of Eau Claire.

I'm so sorry to get back this late, but if you still plan on coming to Eau Claire, yes, dogs are welcome at that park.
