This is a great walk where you can walk, jog and get some scenery looked at. My Airforce Auxilary Unit uses this trail 3 times a year and it's always a welcome training activity.

A great trial that’s very level and well maintained. Since the trail goes East to West, or West to East if starting in Burlington, be mindful of the strong winds blowing from the West. It can make for a long ride home.

It is particulary nice if you go east towards Lyons and Burlington. If you go the other way, you cross a lot of roads and have to get off your bike. The lack of slope makes it easy for everyone. I highly recommend a stop...More

It’s a former RR bed now surfaced with hard packed gravel. Nicely shaded, with a small former RR station open on weekends for food and drink. Otherwise there are plenty of restaurants in Burlington. Miles are marked along the way.

I am from the St. Louis area. We have a much longer Katy trail. This 12 mile stretch was very well maintained. A nice mix of wilderness, farms, homes, and quaint towns. I felt safe and relaxed. I'm not used to paying for the use...More

Every year as part of Get Moving Walworth County, we walk from County NN to Springfield. About 3 miles, it is very scenic and kept well thanks to the Spring Prairie 4H that cleans up the trail annually too. Great walk on a great trail!

I rode this complete End to End from near Kansasville WI to Elkhorn WI and back. The trail surface is in pretty good shape. The hardest part is the city section through Burlington, which was not signed very well at points. My advice is use...More
