Nearly level hiking through wilderness bog-like forest having lots of flowers and mushrooms. You have to backpack in to the only campsites, but you get a waterfront which in a few cases has a sandy beach (near Sand Bay). Lake Michigan is not as cold...More

This was a very scenic hike. Lots of colors. But beware parts of the trail is rough and most of the trail is unmarked.

This is a beautiful hike. Takes only about 90 minutes. Lots of varied landscape, water views and wildflowers.

We came to walk our dog here. Though dogs are not allowed on the main portion of the beach, you can take them on the beach area just a few yards away near parking lot 3. I found this a nice alternative to Whitefish Dunes...More
