Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was across the street from where we were staying. Very convenient. Although a bit older and slightly worn down, it was clean and fun. It was a bit challenging too.

Went with my grandson to have something to do while the rest of the family went parasailing. It is a fun old school course but one with creative holes that link to Wisconsin in some way. We enjoyed the riddles at each hole and the Wisconsin icons. Shady for the most part. Many families were there when we were. I hope it stays open a long time.

Good course but challenging. Rewarding if you play well though because you can get a magnet and qualify for a tournament. Definitely worth it because it’s $5!!!

Fun round of mini golf. It’s old school, not posh like the other two up there, but loads of fun. Would definitely recommend for all ages. Challenging, fair price, nice people.

In sea of highly commercialized, mini-golf "chain" - Red Putter stands heads and shoulders above the rest. It is family owned and operated and has passed hands from one generation to the next. The setting is classic Door County charm - with rustic appeal, large shade trees and interesting and diverse landscape and features. Each green has a distinct personality - and set of challenges - including multi-level platforms. Visitors will immediately feel the "heart and soul" of this place - which sets it apart from the others that are like cookie cutter courses taken from a design template. Red Putter is distinctive, unique and challenges the skill level of any mini-golf enthusiast. It's the only course we'll patronize in Door County!!

Looking forward to them opening up again in May for the season. Love the old-school version of mini-golf. Super fun, and not at all easy. Highly recommend. :)

This is the top attraction in Door County! The course was fun and just challenging enough. The layout was great as well. The golf course has a cute rustic feel, and each hole has a different little challenge & obstacle. The price was very competitive with anything else in the area. You were even able to win free games by getting a hole-in-one on a few of the holes. The owner was funny and super nice as well. I will most certainly be returning to Red Putter.

Fun, old-time mini golf course. It’s not fancy but it’s kitschy and cute! If you’d like an old fashioned game of mini golf, this is the place for you.

The better option is just down the street, This is a aging and in need of repair mini golf. It’s fine for kids and another option. But while the Pirate Golf is just down the street and a bit more expensive. That was a truly fantastic facility that was hard to beat. After that, this was disappointing since they had a full year of COVID to work on it and do some work.

Thanks for your honest review. Our classic mini-golf style may not be for everyone and we love our Pirate neighbors too.
We will continue to upgrade and improve, but I'm not sure how COVID gave us time to do so. We have been glad to offer a safe activity for people and have been busier than ever.
