Great drive and views! Don't look for the tower as it's still on the maps but was taken down. I recommend going to the local market, get some wine and pack a lunch and find a quite spot for lunch!!

There's so much to do here, from the sheer beauty of the drives on back roads to the activities. During the summer, camping sites are booked months in advance, so we were very lucky to get in on a cancellation (always check), but you can still thoroughly enjoy the park without staying. On both Shore Road and Skyline Drive, we... More

The drive through the park is beautiful. There are many places to stop along the way and take pictures of the scenery.

We rode through this State Park as part of a cycling tour through Door County. The roads were smooth and nicely paved with only a few hills. It was a very enjoyable ride through this very wooded park. We made several stops along the way, to see a lighthouse and some beach spots and there was access to some rest... More

Nice paved or maintained gracel trails and relatively flat land for biking. Beautiful beach spots to stop for a quick picnic as well.

We had a good time in the park. Took the most famous hike down and back up the cliff. Unfortunately the light house was closed for the season. If you go during peak tourist season definitely check out the light house and take the tour. Very interesting and a nice view from the cliff.

We were in the area doing some genealogy and decided to spend some time hiking in the park. I can see why some would give poor ratings. The restroom facilities are run down, the parking is not really near many of the trails, and the trails themselves are not really well marked. Luckily, I printed a map prior to arriving,... More

Peninsula State Park provides a wide range of activities for a wide range of people. The roads are well groomed as are the trails. There are trails that offer challenge along with trails that can be enjoyed by persons with some degree of mobility restriction. Cyclists along with campers are welcome in the park. The park staff appears to be... More
