Located on the north side of Peninsula State Park (golf course/ Ephraim end). This is a moderately challenging, but well maintained trail that goes from the top of Eagle Bluff and around the bottom under spectacular white cliffs. Can be muddy or icy/slippery in the...More

Beautiful, peaceful walk through mature trees and along a stream. Sunlight filters through the leaves and it is a lovely walk that everyone can enjoy.

A hike for real hikers, not for the out of shape. Hike down towards the water, not up into the woods. Take water with you and a camera. Great views of the bluff face. Beware of slippery rocks, muddy boards, tree roots and rocks depending...More

This trail is rated "difficult" and since we've done a lot of hiking out west, we figured Wisconsin "difficult" would be a walk with maybe a few switchbacks. Well, this was indeed a hike! There are a decent number of washed out areas on the...More

A must see and no matter how much you go there, there is always something you miss. One of the most beautiful parks you will see and so clean.

Eagle Trail is not for everyone, but it's always beautiful and a good hike. Algae on the rocks (the black ice of summer) and tree roots can make this a tough hike for young children or seniors, but well worth the effort for everyone else....More

This trail was quite the experience. It's not too long and it is rated difficult. It wasn't that difficult, but if you have any kind of physical impairment, it can be quite challenging. There are some tricky spots and lots of roots and rocks obstructing...More

We hike this almost every year, and this year was the most challenging. There is erosion on many "paths", with visible tree roots. A hiking stick would be helpful as well as good hiking shoes. I wouldn't advise doing after a rain to avoid slippery...More

I have not seen or heard about nesting Eagles there and the caves do not look very large. 920-868-3258 is the peninsula Park ranger station and they have always been helpful with answers.
