It's just a smart idea to tour the waters of Door County from the comfort of the Grey Fox 2 with trusted Captain Matt Olson. Super knowledgeable of the area and sites you don't get to see on other water tours in the area.

Absolutely loved this tour! It was a fast ride, flying over the waves, with beautiful scenery and lots of information about the area. Matt is very knowledgeable. We've taken several water tours, but this was by far our favorite!

Don't miss this fun filled ride if you like a little wind in your face, music to fly by, and a chance to see some up close shoreline sights. Learn the local history including the nearby islands, lighthouse, and multiple shipwrecks. Our tour guide, Matt, was able to answer questions and took a couple great pics of us from the... More

My friend and I came up to Door County for a "Girl's Getaway" vacation this past week, and have participated in numerous great activities. But, none compared to our final day's ADVENTURE!! Wow!! This was a truly AWESOME experience, one that we could never have done otherwise. Matt provided the six of us passengers the ride of a lifetime...thrilling, exhilarating,... More

I chose this tour because I like excitement and this trip fulfilled the bill. Matt takes you out on speedy ride around Lake Michigan in his little neck of the world- upper Peninsula Door County. We saw lighthouses , Pilot Island and Plum Island. Matt knows lots of historical facts and past stories of who lived and served on the... More

Matt told interesting stories of Plum & Pilot Island, got up close to the face of the rocks against the cliffs and pointed out ancient hieroglyphics left from the native americans that lived their a 100years ago. Told and showed us where skeletons of sunken ships lay and played upbeat lively music throughout the tour. Had a great time.

I've legit been on every tour offered in Door County since I was 13. I used to hate them, and I mean hate them. They are ridiculously boring, but I go because everyone wants to go...repeatedly. This time, I was celebrating my anniversary with my husband...we are in our early 30s, so we weren't interested in the same old tour.... More

Capt Matt was gracious and accommodating. We had six humans and two dogs on our tour, both groups had a blast. Matt is full of local history, personalizing your on the water journey. He gets you up close to the islands and caves of DC. Also got to see a couple of sunken boats during the adventure. Would recommend this... More

Seeing Door County from the water was truly an eye-opening experience. We left from Ellison Bay and went on a loop through the Death’s Door passage. The shoreline was amazing, imposing and just plain interesting to see. Not what I expected at all. We turned into passage and learned about lighthouses, navigation aids and the general history of the passage.... More
