I had a nice relaxing walk here. We needed a nice second winter walk. This worked well. I imagine this is lovely during spring.

We stopped here recently on a 10 degree day with winds about 20-25 miles an hour. We had serious cabin fever and this was just the ticket. We walked out to the gorge and then along the clifftop over lake Michigan. The views were stunning....More

What a beautiful, county park. The trails offer options for lots of elevation or a more sedate walk. There is also a handicapped path. The views of the lake were wonderful and the trees were in fall splendor.

Visited for the first time with my sister and her kids. The kids loved exploring all the trails and sifting through the rocks on the beach. I liked the stairs/path down the beach. We arrived by 10am on a Friday and when we left 2...More

Nice well marked walking trails that provide beautiful bluff lake views at several spots. It took us about an hour to walk around the trail, stopping a couple times for photos. We did not venture down the stairs to the beach below, but will plan...More

This preserves is a wonderful walking area with many trails. Dogs are allowed on leash and small parking lot but plenty of "along the road" parking. Very nice scenic lookout points.

Wonderful as long as everyone else follow the signs to keep their dogs leashed. No one wants to chase your dog or pick up your poop

Be ready for a nature walk adventure! It is nature and the mosquitos can get more than a little friendly when you get into the park. Several trail options lead you through a variety of trails that go from lake bluff to prairie grasses and...More

Yes it is. Dogs must be on leashes at all times in the park. This park has so many different trails you hardly run into people. If you are able take the stairs down with your dog(s) and enjoy the Lake Michigan Beach.
