Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stopped here on the way to Kato Terra. An impressive solid church in great condition. An information board provides the history of the structure. Beautiful domed ceilings and remnants of old religious frescos. It is still used on occasions.

interesting church, unusual because of the three domes at the front. It is open for those interested to go in

Beautifully restored old church of Agia Ekaterini. A few damaged fresco's still can be found inside and outside of this church. The fresco's inside are faded but quite beautiful with the afternoon light coming from the entrance.
Unfortunatly electric cables and lights have been installed which spoils the atmosphere a bit.

This church is located at the heart of the village. Its accessible by car, the road its a little bit narrow so you have to be careful. There is a parking place as well.
After your visit at the church its nice to take a walk through the village.

On our way to Kato Terra is this ancient church which I thought unusual having three round domes. It looked abandoned but on entering, the interior illuminated only by shafts of sunlight coming through small windows, I could see a beautiful iconostasis and a vase of lilies. Easter had been celebrated here, and indeed a family called in briefly to fulfil their Easter obligations. Neither grand nor especially beautiful but more than worth a 10 minute stop aling the way.
