My hubby and I wanted to check out the water falls. Having never been here my goal was to take pictures. After a 2 mile hike (we were told 1 1/2 miles by the people selling parking passes) there were hundred's of people everywhere, in...More
My family enjoyed stayed at the campground in the 300 sites. It was nice - large sites with privacy from your neighbor. The 100 campground is mainly open - it’s the newest of the loops. The 200 campground is partly shaded and has some larger...More
It's a rather long walk to and from the waterfall (coming back is uphill), but it's worth seeing during all seasons! You feel as if you're at a remote river in northern WI or MN, but this state park is less than 1/2 hour from...More

The closest trail to the Falls is about 1.5 miles and that is with pretty steep hills. There are flatter routes but then you are looking at walking a further distance to them. Is a beautiful view and worth the walk there but would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Definently bring good sneakers along.
