This is a great state park to camp at and has great hiking. The water falls are awesome with nice trails and swimming around them. The amenities offer hot showers and nice sized camp sites.

My hubby and I wanted to check out the water falls. Having never been here my goal was to take pictures. After a 2 mile hike (we were told 1 1/2 miles by the people selling parking passes) there were hundred's of people everywhere, in...More

My family enjoyed stayed at the campground in the 300 sites. It was nice - large sites with privacy from your neighbor. The 100 campground is mainly open - it’s the newest of the loops. The 200 campground is partly shaded and has some larger...More

It's a rather long walk to and from the waterfall (coming back is uphill), but it's worth seeing during all seasons! You feel as if you're at a remote river in northern WI or MN, but this state park is less than 1/2 hour from...More

You need a State Park Pass to visit. The parking lot is just off the county road, it's easy to drive past if you aren't paying attention, this is located just down from the main park area. The first part of the trail is unpaved...More

Visited the “big” falls. Makes for a nice little hike on a Sunday afternoon. Also saw a blue butterfly! We can’t wait to go back and see the little falls.

Came for the falls and went away with a workout. Started towards the falls and start out on a gravel path then you are met with a blacktop path to the bottom. It is about a 1/4 of a mile or so and about 40...More

I am new to the area and a photography student. I live in Somerset and could not believe that the falls were so close to my apartment. I consider the falls to be a wonderful place to sit, relax and enjoy the view.

A wonderful way to spend my Mother's Day afternoon. After a spectacular breakfast at Chilkoot Cafe in Stillwater, this activity was beyond our hopes. Neither my daughter or I had been here before, so we were flabbergasted to realize that this park was within driving...More

The closest trail to the Falls is about 1.5 miles and that is with pretty steep hills. There are flatter routes but then you are looking at walking a further distance to them. Is a beautiful view and worth the walk there but... More
