When visiting the Racine,Kenosha or Milwaukee area , Mars is a "must stop". Their selections are second to none! In addition, they also offer many other items we can only find there ,including their Delicious cowboy root beer !!Take a moment to stop ,shop or just browse through, you'll be glad you did,

My friends and I came here for lunch, beer, and cheese...simple as that. The frontage of a castle definitely catches drivers' eyes from the highway. There is an awesome selection of local beers (must drink at the bar area) and all kinds of cheese. Stop for lunch and try the Kings Ransom sandwich from the kitchen for sure. Their bakery... More

In town for business and had to get some cheese curds before leaving. Staff was very friendly and helpful picking out some authentic cheeses to bring home for family. Huge beer selection.

I was expecting more cheese. There were lots of Wisconsin souvenirs and a big alcohol section, but very little cheese. They're undergoing a major renovation and expansion, so maybe there will be more cheese soon.

We have stopped here on numerous occasions when we were on a tight schedule. We planned to stop today to leisurely complete our Christmas shopping. While the store may be a little crowded, there is a great variety of wine, cheese, baked goods, adult and family beverages, snacks and treats for every taste and budget!

We happened upon this while traveling over Thanksgiving weekend and thought it would be a huge cheese shop. Most of it was wine, beer, misc dry goods, and souvenirs. We at at the restaurant there which is why I only have it 2 stars. My reuben sandwhich could not have been thinner- not worth 7.99. The better location is the... More

Of course it's "touristy" but that's all part of the fun. We were in Illinois and wanted to step our toes into Wisconsin specifically for home-grown cheese. Mars Cheese Castle and the sweet town of Kenosha was the perfect not-too-far place to stop. You could smell hot cheese from the parking lot and, no, I'm not kidding! The castle made... More

The Cheese Castle specializes in things Wisconsin. They have cheeses, beer, wine, a bakery, a food counter and a bar. It is basically a store and they have tastings for various items. It is a fun stop and you never know when you will find something you like. Worth a stop.

I first visited here a couple of years ago and I found myself here again on business so thought I'd drop in again. Inside the old looking castle, there is quite an eclectic mix of produce, from beer and drinks to cheese and delicatessen items. The little cafe makes an ideal place to take a break if you're driving through.... More

The outside is shaped like a castle and is easy to get to off the highway. They had all kinds of cheese to choose from but even more wines and beers. They have a huge variety of novelty beers and wines I had never seen before. There is also a restaurant in the castle and a bakery. We tried the... More
