After driving past the Mars Cheese Castle for years on our way to/from Milwaukee we decided to stop. It is easy to get to off the highway and we found a wide variety of not just cheese but also beer, wine, and many other specialty grocery items. it was mid-morning so we did not stop for a meal but they... We stopped to grab some of Wisconsin's famous cheese curds. This place had them in multiple flavors...plus any other cheese you could ever want. We grabbed some onion and chive, cheddar, spicy, and buffalo cheese curds. They also had a wide variety of beer, wine and specialty pops. This was a great place and we can't wait to go back... More

We stopped here on a road trip and it was fabulous! What a great selection of cheese and cheese accompiaments! They have everything gourmet for your charcuterie spread! From crackers to jellies, to deli meats, and a bakery even with pastries and goodies! Too bad this place isn't close to home for me, it's like a one stop shop for... More

If u r headed to Milwaukee, stop here for lunch. Great food, friendly people, & pick up some goodies for later. Reasonably priced.

It's the name that gets you inside, but once inside you're in for a pretty standard tourist trap. Lots of Wisconsin themed merchandise (foam cheese heads, local dairy products, etc.) and a couple places to eat -- a tavern and a place to get sandwiches. The beer selection is extensive, though overpriced.

It's hard to give a fair review, because of the remodeling. The staff is friendly, the food was good. Good selection of beers. I expected more cheese selections, but we were there in the off-season. My son and his family live in the area and we wanted to check it out. If you are looking for a good stop on... More

When visiting the Racine,Kenosha or Milwaukee area , Mars is a "must stop". Their selections are second to none! In addition, they also offer many other items we can only find there ,including their Delicious cowboy root beer !!Take a moment to stop ,shop or just browse through, you'll be glad you did,

My friends and I came here for lunch, beer, and cheese...simple as that. The frontage of a castle definitely catches drivers' eyes from the highway. There is an awesome selection of local beers (must drink at the bar area) and all kinds of cheese. Stop for lunch and try the Kings Ransom sandwich from the kitchen for sure. Their bakery... More

In town for business and had to get some cheese curds before leaving. Staff was very friendly and helpful picking out some authentic cheeses to bring home for family. Huge beer selection.
