Good midwest skiing!

Mt. La Crosse is a family friendly, fun mid-western skiing experience for all ages. You don't want to go on race weekends because it gets very crowded. Good food and bar as well.

Although the weather was very hot for June in Wisconsin, this place makes for a beautiful wedding location. The ceremony was held near the lodge, but with the ski runs going up the bluffs in the background, it was an ideal location.

Wanna go skiing but can not afford a big trip? Then sadly, Mt. Lacrosse is your choice. While it would be a great option for families, there are far too many uncontrolled skiiers and snowboarders on the hill to make it safe. I would NOT bring young children here.

The chalet is nice, the bar area is great and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The hill, however, blew me away! I was so surprised to see the variety of runs they have - there definitely is a little something for everybody! Well worth a visit.

Great chalet! Nice bar. Nice hill, for the Midwest. A great place to stretch your ski legs. Good for families too!

In all the times I've been to Mt La Crosse, I've never had a bad time. Sure, smaller area but the snow has always been good. Terrain varies from pretty simple to challenging on one "double black" steep run. Well groomed, fun NASTAR course, good day and night skiing. That said, parking can be a challenge as I've found. Obviously, when people think skiing they think mountains and Colorado. My. La Crosse is a nice substitute for those that can't hop a plane and go skiing out west. The trails are well groomed, the chalet is cozy, and the equipment they rent is in good shape. Plenty of hills to choose from, with varying degrees of difficulty.

This is a very fun place to ski for the afternoon. There is some challengeing terrain, very steep but there is also a good chuck that is great for any level skier

Everyone is super kind and friendly. This is our first season spending time at Mount La Crosse and everyone is helpful to us as beginners. The atmosphere is amazing and the chalet and store, etc. are clean with a fun retro feel. Worth a trip to spend the day skiing.

Decent number of trails, 3 lifts- don't have to wait too long, rental equipment is decent. Lodge is small and most of the places to sit are taken by people placing their gear/bags under the tables/chairs. I would rate the trails as great and the lodge as fair at best.
