I visited this chapel during a time when I was participating in a program at the Franciscan Spirituality Center - which is connected to the chapel in a way. I attended daily mass with the Sisters and was able to stay in the chapel for...More

Usually one of the sisters will be available to point out the artistic components of the chapel. It has survived a fire and that story is interesting, Local craftsman did much if not all of the carving on the altars.

Take the tour. It is amazing. You can even leave a prayer request for the Sisters of Perpetual Adoration. So beautiful.

I shouldn't necessarily be reviewing the actual sight. Instead I'd just like to comment on the indifference of the person who did not let us in. We went to visitor entrance minutes after 3:00 on a Saturday. A voice on the intercom immediately asked us...More

This is a special place in St. Rose Convent. 132 years of around the clock praying. Worth seeing and being part of the prayer.
