Fun, enjoyable trip.

Thank you to all of the staff that made our stay so enjoyable. We loved the one bedroom suite and the free arcade credits. Waterpark was great. Only wish the outside pool had been open during our stay. We will be back.

Dirty facility
Mar 2021 • Family
After calling to speak with the manager about their covid-19 precautions we decided to book here. They were all talk. Even though the staff wore masks and the had napkins for touching the elevator buttons, there wasn’t very much other cleaning done at the facility.

They shut down the ice machine so they utilize a texting service for ice and other needs, which reduced the amount of unnecessary contact with the staff.

Our room had a sanitized sticker on the door, yet there were items left in the room from previous guests, the sink was dirty, and we refused to use the tub.

There was garbage and trash all over the entire facility including the hallways, parking lot and the pool. Wristbands, wrappers and other items strewn about and not picked up by the staff. We even walked over the same dental flossing stick for 3 days in the hallway to our room and it wasn’t touched. (I know we couldn’t picked it up, but we were curious how long they would neglect it.)

In the water park, there was. O distancing of the tables and they were not wiped down between guests. The tables, tubes, slides, etc were not cleaned throughout the day, and the amount of wristbands and other trash in the pool areas were off putting.

I know that Wisconsin is lacks when it comes to COVID-19 precautions, but i had hoped for better and pray that no one gets sick.

Good for families of young children
Feb 2021
For $25 per person, the waterpark leaves a lot to be desired. Staff is rude. It is not very clean. There are only 2 big water slides. It is better for families with young children.

Fun family spot, needs more staff
Jun 2020
We've been here 4 times in the past 2 years. 3 of the 4 times our room was not ready when we arrived to check in. Food and service can be spotty - especially if its crowded. Small kids are allowed in the hot tub that's supposed to be adults only. Most of these issues would not be a problem if they would hire more staff.

But the kids LOVE the water park and the slides. Pack some food (and drinks) because each room has a nice little kitchen which helps save a lot of money with a family.

Best Place

This is literally my favorite place. So much to do. I would live here if I could. I have been here 3 times and will keep coming back when I can afford it. From the slides to the lazy river to the hot tubs to the staff, everything is perfect.

Mini-vacation for the grandchildren
Aug 2019 • Family
Took the grandchildren to the waterpark for 3 nights before school started. This is the 2nd time we’ve been here & we all really enjoyed it. The staff are well trained, everything is very clean and the outdoor pools are great too!! We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and it was just perfect for 6 of us. The waterpark is smaller than those in the Dells which is perfect size for the little kids. We will definitely go back!!!

Good Time Had by All
Aug 2019
Thirteen of us booked a family vacation at the Holiday Inn Vacation Club on the grounds of the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva. We’re able to purchase a daily pass to Timber Ridge Waterpark. It wasn’t overly busy the Monday we went. There were indoor and outdoor options for the five kids we had along, ages 3-12. The staff, including the attentive lifeguards, were friendly. There is food available for purchase. Neither adults nor kids wanted to leave. It was a great place to spend a day.

Kids loved it

The hotel was ok. Waterpark was fun. The hallways need new carpet badly. It’s dirty and dusty!!! The balcony is tiny. The room was good. Clean and comfortable to a certain extent. We lost electricity in room due to a pretty bad thunderstorm our first night there. Upon checkout we were not charged resort fee for that night.

July 2019 - Timber Ridge
Jul 2019
Housekeeping was a nightmare - at 9pm they hadn't cleaned our room. Never gave us enough towels and washcloths. The water park is small and mostly for little children - our nieces and nephews are 7 and 9 and they were bored there - the game room is very expensive. The Trolley over to the Grand Geneva was nice and this is a beautiful resort.

Not as good as it used to be
Jul 2019 • Family
This was our third time staying at Timber Ridge. Our first stay back in 2016 was wonderful. The place was clean, smelled fresh, and access to the Grand Geneva pool was included with our stay at Timber Ridge. Our stay in July 2019 was not as pleasant. The place is beginning to feel outdated and dirty. The carpet throughout is worn and had crumbs in the hall. The air conditioning did not seem to be on throughout the common areas of the lodge. Timber Ridge guests no longer have access to the pool at Grand Geneva. Our biggest complaint is about the day camp groups that were booked for 2 of the days we stayed (Tuesday and Wednesday). The day camps took over the park from late morning through early afternoon and made our time in the waterpark less than peaceful and relaxing. I expect to have easy access to the slides, lazy river, and hot tub when I pay a resort fee on top of the cost of a suite. We felt over-run by the day camps. Not sure we will be returning to Timber Ridge anytime soon. Management's priority should be the customers paying for suites, not making extra bucks off of day camp groups.
