It is flat in some areas but there are some slopes and stairs to climb. If you start at the Riviera (in Lake Geneva) and head to the path to the west, you should be OK for a mile or two.

I believe there are playgrounds around the path near the lake, but the path itself might be challenging for a 2 year old. It also might not be that warm up there at this time of year. It is definitely less than 2 hours away.
