The beach appears well-kept (clean & well-maintained)--just watch out for the occasional bit of seaweed when swimming. Conveniently close to the stores on the boat dock & boat tours. Nice open view from the beach of both the lake and surrounding town. Since the beach...More

Beach was not very crowded, many families where enjoying the sun. There was a Life guard on duty and the beach was clean. The water was cold but overall a great beach to visit very close to town and not far from surrounding hotels. Worth...More

Rainy the day we were there, but still a charming little beach that was very clean - not very big, so get there early on a nice day to snag a spot!

Now I 100 percent think it is the parents responsibility to watch their kids while they are in the water, but I have never seen paid life guards on a beach people paid to get into so poorly trained and regulated. They were sitting two...More

Yes, I know it's a public beach, but this place is always crowded. We're talking about stepping on each other and always bumping into someone type of crowded. The amount of dead fish washed up on shore where we were swimming and building sand castles...More

Too bad it was so chilly last weekend. It would have made everything so much nicer. Shops inside were interesting and warmed us.

If one has no other choice, then Riviera Beach is fine; however do not expect it to compare to other beaches in Florida, for example. It is just a small beach on the lake that become packed with people in the summer... and with the...More

It's decent, the beach is clean and there are lifeguards. It's free after 5pm to get in (at which point I believe there are no longer lifeguards on duty, can't remember). If the weather is good it gets super overcrowded though.

This beach is free after labor day. it is a perfect beach for a lazy afternoon. Nice sand, no rocks, located next to the pier and all the restaurants and action for Lake Geneva. Loved it!
