Grandsons 4 & 6 really enjoyed the train ride ( 15 minutes is just long enough for that age) and the activities at camp 5. The petting zoo, old tractors and lifting the 100 pound log in the museum were highlights for the kids. We enjoyed the tour guide on the forest ride...very interesting story about the Connors and the property. The farm was one of 39 logging farms in WI. We heard we should come back next year for the corn maze fall 2021.

I didn’t think 2 hours was enough time once we got to the museum. Catch an earlier train if you can. They have a petting Zoo that I couldn’t get the kids out of. Refreshments were reasonably priced as were souvenirs.

Our grandsons were skeptical when we decided to take them here on a day trip. They had so much fun they are talking about it weeks later. The steam train ride is short and a little boring but they can sit up in the caboose and look at the trees. They really enjoyed feeding the goats, petting kittens and seeing baby bunnies and chicks. We had lunch on the grounds which was ok but reasonable. All in all a great time.

Great family day trip. The train has several cars which allows for several different seating options. Snack hut was very reasonably priced. Gift shop also very reasonable. Corn maze, petting barn, rail car ride, forest trail ride. Can spend several hours there. Staff very friendly.
