This is one of the best parks in the country. Fun to view the Discovery Center and the Milwaukee Art Museum. A great place to just relax and exercise and have an ice cream. Views make it a don't miss.

This is great open space right on Lake Michigan with a great veiw of the Milwaukee Art Museum, Discovery World, and Milwaukee's downtown skyline from the lake side. There free parking, and the Gift of Wings store is a must. It sells all sorts of kites from $20 on up, ice cream, and other snacks, and rents out bicycles and other pedal vehicles for riding up and down the lakefront paved paths. This is a great place to fly kites because it is so open and breezy. It is also a great place to toss a frisbee or football. It never seems crowded, except when fireworks are in the offiing. Then you are luck to find a place to sit. The only reason I gave it only 4 starts instead of 5 is that it needs more bathrooms. You will have fun in this park! …

I have attended the lantern festival for rye past two years held here. The location and parking is very convenient. Pretty lagoon, would love to rent a boat one day.
