Milwaukee's only place for hands-on play and interactive learning, just for kids 10 and younger and their grown-ups! The Betty Brinn Children's Museum is dedicated to providing interactive exhibits and educational resources that promote the healthy development of children in their formative years. Exhibits include a kid-sized town; an area exploring the visual, language and performing arts; a life-sized board game that teaches kids about being healthy and taking care of our bodies; an inviting play just for children age 4 and younger; and a special exhibits gallery that features exhibits such as The Adventures of Mr. Potato Head, Tinkertoy: Build Your Imagination, Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl: Home Sweet Home and much more! The Museum also features two outdoor exhibits in the summer.

We have been to other children's museums before, but tonus , this stood apart. The exhibits were very unique and really geared towards kids. We found us getting very involved in the exhibits as well. Parking was very easy in a nearby garage that was a few dollars. It was a short indoor walk to the museum from the garage.... More

This museum highly exceeded my expectations. We spent about four hours here just loving everything. The quality of the exhibits and the hands-on play kept my kids busy for hours. We didn't want to leave!

My son and daughter love this museum. Parking is easy and only $3 for members! The family memberships are reasonably priced. You may also bring your own lunches and eat in their specified area, or outside!

If you visiting city with little kids you can stop. They will have fun. For adults its just another place with the same activities - bank, construction zone, grocery store etc. Nothing special, but over all positive experience.

With grandkids in the Milwaukee area, it can be challenging to find fun, educational places to take them particularly in inclement weather. We "discovered" the Betty Brinn on our last visit and stayed for hours enjoying the multitude of educational and recreational offerings with our grandson. He enjoyed the visit immensely and I am sure we will go back next... More

I have a 6 year old and wanted to take her to a children's museum while on vacation, she didn't find this to be interesting at all. It was for pre-kindergarten age. She liked the gift shop toys. Majority of the place looked like it was under construction and no developed, we weren't sure if we were in the right... More

My daughter (10 y/o) loves Betty Brinn, she will request to go there all the time. She has loved it for years. If you are looking for a good rainy day place to go and stay dry with the kids, this is it.

Don't have a lot of experience with these but took the grandkids on a rainy day. LOTS of kids and not much staff. Many activities but no one to restock the shelves, find the balls, put the pieces back, etc. Pretty expensive as adults have to pay just to come in and watch. Almost $50 for 2 toddlers and 5... My kids really enjoyed the Betty Brinn Museum as young kids. As they've gotten older, it has lost it's flair. I think older kids notice when things are outdated more than the younger kids. So, with that in mind, I would definitely recommend it for your young ones. You might want to see if you can find a discount coupon... More

I am from the Rochester NY area so having been to the Strong National Museum of Play this museum was not great in comparison. If you have never been to another children's museum, this one will be nice to visit. The Goods: the view of the lake is amazing, if you are there at noon you can see the art... More
