Frank Lloyd Wright Masterpiece

This church is nearly unbelievable. Every detail of its creation is astonishing and the tours are absolutely fascinating. I spent hours photographing the building after the tour.

Visited w/family during Door Open Milwaukee. The architecture is beautiful, but definitely recommend a tour if possible to get full explanation of the intricacies of the building. Much of the structure is reminiscent of something from "Lost In Space".

Beautiful Frank Llyod Wright designed church. Very cool interior as well (as with most of the buildings he designed most of the interior as well. Unfortunately tours of the interior are hard to arrange. For individuals, you might try during Open Doors Milwaukee (when we went)

This is one of the most beautiful FLW public buildings I have seen. So different than much of his work, but with many of the same qualities we have come to know and love. Use GPS to find it, it is a little off the beaten path in an area that is a little rough. But well worth it to... More

You cannot go inside this church and, even though you may not be a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright, this one is a must.

I had visited their VERY Greek Orthodox church service as a teenager (and as an adult) and have found it interesting on many levels. The "Greek Fest" (they moved to be held at the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds) is a good example of different Greek food and dance (as well as having a nice rides/concession area at the same time.)

You can't go in the church, so we just drove around it and took pictures. It really is not worth the trip.

We were able to drop in and get a tour of a Frank Lloyd Wright designed Unitarian Church in Madison, but had no such luck here in Milwaukee. Unless you attend a service on Sunday, it appears you need to make special arrangements to visit here. We were not able to get inside, but did go around the outside and... More

This building is beautiful and the tours tell the history or the building and the Greek Orthodox religion. Fun and informative- it is gray for families or adults.

My sister lives a few blocks from this church, so we walked over to see it based on recommendations on Trip Advisor. Very glad that we did. The building is beautiful and interesting. Best to come on a Sunday though, because it's not usually open during the week. Tours can be pre-arranged for larger groups, but if you're not part... More
