Quite, fresh, walking along the water, this is a very nice trail. Yes, we did pass a bunch of people, but this is a truly nice, meandering trail. Check it out!

At a minimum you should walk out on the old rail bridge that crosses Lake Minocqua. It has easy access from downtown and is within walking distance from the motels. We were out there at dusk and saw a beautiful sunset over the lake. Don't...More

Walking or biking, this is one of the premier rail-to-trails in Wisconsin. 18 miles of crushed pink granite. Well posted, both with mile markers and information signs about points of historical or natural interest. Several trestles across marshes and the Bearskin Creek. Picnic Benches. An...More

This trail has a very inviting entrance. You cross a scenic bridge and go into a wooded area. There are some really pretty views of small lakes and a marsh along the way. The trail is very wide and flat.

This is packed fine gravel hiking and biking trail built on an old railroad bed. One of my top three nature places in the U.S. Besides going by lakes and cabins and summer homes, this trail passes an historic doctor's house and lots of marsh...More

I walked this lovely trail with friend this week. It is beautiful. The trails for both walking and biking. Crushed gravel. Many lovely views of lakes through a forested area.

Beautiful bike path with great scenery of the lakes and woods. Not too difficult of a ride for any bike.

For any riders, serious or fat-tire 7 speed, this is a fun and scenic trail. Crushed red stone or packed earth, it's easy riding and wide enough for two or three abreast to chat. It's easy to stop and check out flowers, forest and frogs...More

My dog and I really enjoyed walking on this path. It was beautiful and scenic but not buggy. I know it's 18 miles but I don't think I will ever see the whole thing.
