Park itself was nice. Sites were decent sized & they had space between them with trees & bushes for a bit of privacy. Grandkids enjoyed fishing pier. Restroom/shower building is newer, but disgustingly dirty. Appeared they hadn't been taken care of all week. Several ppl...More

Buckhorn State park is on the quiet side of Castle Rock Lake. The hike to campsites along the lake are just awesome. Swimming, boating, hiking, geocaching-Buckhorn has a lot to choose from!
