The MacKenzie center does a great job of displaying native Wisconsin and non-native animals alike. Safe is always friendly and willing to share. Exhibits are never crowded

Love the vast wildlife preserve. The forestry and plants, trails, educational sites, and the animals. Great place to have a picnic, go for a hike, visit the animals, and learn something new all while relaxing and having fun. I know the habitats for the animals...More

Wonderful place! Beautiful hiking trails, picnic areas, native Wisconsin wildlife exhibit, logging museum, camping and more available to visitors. MacKenzie Center is a great day trip from Madison. Learn about some environmental conservation and see some preserved animals from around the country. Great place for a hike or picnic with family.

A nice way to spend a couple of hours. Some animals. Some history. Nice surroundings. Fall is pretty and in the spring have a maple syrup festival.
