Beautiful museum. We bought a couple of books by author, Mark Hertzberg; one that covers the SC Johnson Research Tower and the other that covers a local privately owned Frank Lloyd Wright home. This is a great place to visit for culture!

I recently brought two friends from Denmark to see the current exhibit:teapots. Wondrous works of fantasy and usefulness, entertained the three of us: myself and my two male visitors. Contemporary and often functional every change in exhibit is worth seeing.

We went in one day as we were walking downtown. We were surprised at the limited art on display and the very large special art collection that was just passing through. Good to call ahead if you can to see what collection is in town.

What prompted our first time visit was the annual Peeps Show. Those wonderful Easter marshmallow candies are designed into an art show. This was the 8th year. Totally adorable. Especially if you grew up eating Peeps it was so fun to see what people did...More
