Love biking down to Kohler-Andrae! There are lots of great walking trails and you get to see tons of wildlife. Lots of beach space. Didn't stay at the campsite, but I did bike through, and it is very well groomed.

I used to ride my bike daily through Koehler State Park! Absolutely stunning place to be in with the wonderful sights of Lake Michigan! Definitely want to camp out there soon!

Kohler Andrae State Park made it easy to get to the shore of Lake Michigan, walk its dunes, and spend a little time learning about the local fauna and flora.

It's gorgeous. My husband and I went a few weeks ago. It was so nice and quiet. I think all the tourists went home already. There were a few campers, but that's it. The sand dunes were beautiful and the lake was just gorgeous. There was a good breeze that day, so the waves were rolling.

Camping or day tripping, this park has an abundance of nature trails, miles of beach and a boardwalk featuring the river and marshland, to enjoy. A nature center that has hands on displays and Rangers presenting a wide range of programs. From the boardwalks thru the sand dunes, to the forest trails, to the kids pond full of fish...this park... Beautiful area with dunes, beaches, forest. Great for camping (electric only) walking etc. We enjoyed the drive through and the vistas of Lake Michigan. Would love to spend more time there.

There are several walks, some accessible, and there is access to the beach and the dunes. The park is clean and well-maintained. Came once during warm weather and it was really beautiful. There is an entrance fee for non-Wisconsin residents.

We live 90 minutes away and had never visited this park/beach but had heard great things about it. Finally loaded a cooler with lunch and a few chairs in the car last weekend and embarked on a great day trip. The beach was beautiful and not overrun (there was a good breeze coming off the lake). Relaxed into some reading... More

Unfortunately, due to the high water level on Lake Michigan, we were not able to walk far on the beach.
