GREAT HIKING/BIKING TRAIL!

Our family has been on most of the trail that encompasses Stevens Point either on foot or bike. Great way to enjoy nature and get exercise!

This is the only reason the Stevens Point Area is half livable. The trail takes you along some nice country with much in the form of wildlife and trees. It's almost possible to realize you're not surrounded by some of the worst people and scenery that Wisconsin has to offer.

With the trail perfectly suited for walking and biking, my favorite part is lengthy section along the Wisconsin river. With almost no buildings in site, you can enjoy a very long stretch of our beautiful, pristine rivers edge and all of the wildlife that thrives in these protected areas.

Nice trail through miles around town. The different extentions lead you through woods and rivers and mixed gravel and paved area's. Great for hiking or biking.

You can either walk the whole trail or part of it. It is nice to find a place where you can still observe nature. However, in the summer, the bugs take over the trails.

You never know what you will see walking these trails.....depending on the time of the year the trees, the flowers etc are beautiful! You will see squirrels, rabbits, birds and even deer. This is a nice place to go alone, with your spouse or family and grandkids. Enjoy!!

I have been on the Green Circle a multitude of times. The routes are pretty straightforward, with a " green circle" guiding the way. It is diverse; if you want to see the riverfront, frequently having some visitors, you may do so. If you are interested in more solitude, the route near the airport will provide that, ( but, in... These are the best trails in the area. This trail is for everyone a lot of diversity and you do not have to hike the entire trail, just go as far and for as long as you want. Trail gets a lot of use, but is never over crowded.
