It had been awhile since we were here and they have so many more wines and now a distillery! We enjoyed our tasting which was $3 each but reimbursed as a coupon towards purchase of a bottle. The staff was friendly and welcoming and helpful in locating our choices for purchase. The only issue for us was we knew more... More

We were the only ones on the winery tour. We did the testing for $3 each, and then r eceived two $3 off coupons for a bottle of wine. The staff was very helpful in trying to find a wine that we may enjoy. Highly recommend!

We have been visiting the winery for many years but their service has gone down hill greatly. Our last visit was going fine one of the bar tenders rudely demanded that we show her that we had paid for the wine tasting. After we did she began to get very paranoid and swore at us. She also proceeded to make... More

This winery has a very large number of wines for sale. They are $-$$. You can sample 6 for just a couple of dollars. The cost of which is applied to the first bottle purchased. You can also sample Ship Wrecked beers here. They also sell a limited number of those beers. Awesome stuff! Pumpkin and Porter were available. They... More

The winery has a distinctive chlorinated smell, which was a bit off-putting, but the actual shop area where you can also buy wine and/or do a tasting was well organized and energetic. There was a wide variety of wines to choose from, as well as a selection of liquors Door Peninsula distills. The staff were helpful.

Visited there today at 4:30 PM. The place was advertised that it closed at 5:00 PM. However, all the tasting areas were already closed and cleaned up, and staff was very rude. I requested a free sample of fudge to try and the clerk was absolutely impersonal. Additionally, the sample was all dried out. At the check out, two staff... More

Have enjoyed this winery for years - quite the growth from its schoolhouse origins. Fun, free samplings of vinegars, oils and fudge. The wine tasting is a good deal - $3 for seven samples and you get $3 off a bottle. Decent wines - lots of fruit-based but non-headache-producing - and the spirits - gin, vodka, whiskey and brandy -... More

This was an afterthought to stop here but was very fun. In paying to try wines, one essentially gets the money back (I believe it was $5) after buying a bottle of wine since the cost to taste test is discounted from the bottle of wine purchased. There's also cheese, vinegars, and delicious fudge to sample.

Tastings are essentially free since they give you back the $3 in coupon form towards your first purchase. They take the time to talk with us about the wines and to recommend ones based on what we like. There is a sheet for you to mark what you want to try and you can use it to make notes. Buying... We did a wine tour and tasting here. The tour was about 20 minutes long; the tour guide rushed through it and gave a very brief overview. There wasn't much to see, but for $3 it wasn't horrible. The wine tasting also was $3, and you got to taste up to 7 wines. We visited on a Saturday and the... More
