You can hike either direction and some trails will lead you right into Whitefish Dunes State Park. The icicles that form in winter are gorgeous. Sometimes we avoid this park in... More

Photographers will love this place on lake Michigan's shoteline. It is very unique for this area of Wisconsin. Great viewing of Lake Michigan and the rocky shoreline. Go when it is windy, fantastic wave action.

We have visited Cave Point many time. Each experience is different. This time we introduced the place to people who have never been here. The weather was sunny and warm for mid November. Favorite stop on our Door County visits. Always a treat. The view is breathtaking. Nice walking trails. Love walking on the rocks right along the lake. Wear a hoody, it can be very chilly.

If you bring little kids they would have to be watched constantly as there are steep drop-offs with about a twenty foot fall onto rocks below. There are small caves in the rocks facing Lake Michigan. This is a scenic place.

Beautiful!!! I highly recommend visiting this exquisite paradise! But be careful by the rocks as there are no railings.
