it is a nice trail for many forms of exercise. some days it can get a little crowded so watch out and keep to your right. i like the many benches and rest stops provided along the trail and it has basic bike repair tools. the worst part would be exhaust fumes from all the traffic nearby.

This trail is paved and has very little elevation. The view of the lake on a clear, warm day is spectacular. There is access to beach areas along the path, and there are benches along the way to just sit and enjoy the view.

TRAIL runs from Manitowoc to north end of Point Beach State Forest. Kept very well maintained. Asphalt until north of Two Rivers then crushed limestone. Portion thru state forest is beautiful for a more secluded ride, not much traffic except occasional weekends when forest campgrounds are full. Just fine for road to fat tire bikes.. good for walking, walking the... More

We unloaded the bikes at Neshota park and pedaled to the state park and back. Nice ride and not too difficult.

The trail was in excellent shape & beautifully landscaped and the views of the lake were nice. But I couldn't get passed the roar of traffic on the 4 lane highway about 5 feet from the path.

Bad- have to cross 4 lane busy highway to get to it along most of it, not sure about beginning or end of it. Gardens are big attraction for butterflies ( and bees) Watch your back for bikers if you are walking

Used this trail fro Two Rivers to Manitowoc. It's a great trail that runs along the lake shore of Lake Michigan. It's a sunny trail but there are rest areas along the way to rest and get some shade. Beautiful flower gardens and art line the trail. The trail is next to a busy road so there is some traffic noise... More

If you want a view of Lake Michigan, Mariners Trail is an excellent place to bike or walk. Even though there's traffic on Memorial Drive, the view is excellent and peaceful. If you want a more rustic trail with shade, check out Rawley Point Trail. I enjoy both, especially for biking.
